At these locations passport and licenses for various vehicles can be obtained.

If for some reason, you are having trouble finding and buying the license, press the map key, and look for any text on the map that say license and passports. If not, it will just put the message “not enough funds” in the lower left text of the game. The most common cost of a driver’s license I have found is $5000, so make sure that amount is in your inventory when you buy it.

Using your middle mouse scroll wheel, scroll down until you see the option for a driver’s license, and then click on it. The first purchase you will want to make is a Driver’s license, which can be bought from a vendor across from the spawn. It is advisable not to withdraw all your money immediately, in fact some players prefer to check the prices of certain items before withdrawing anything just to have the right amount for what they need. Once you locate the ATM, the next step is to withdraw money. Some factions have a person representing an ATM, but for civilians it usually is a laptop. On almost every server you will play on, there will be an ATM right next to where you spawn as any faction. This is important to know as ATMs are where a person can access their bank accounts and retrieve money, along with storing it. The first thing to learn is the location of an ATM, usually marked as green squares on the map. But each civilian starts unarmed, and unthreatening, and as one you shouldn’t be shot nearly as much as an armed soldier. If someone wants to blow themselves up in front of a bakery as some anti yeast statement, then by god they can. If another person wants to find a weapon and take revenge on someone, they can. If someone just wants to run people around like a taxi cab, that is within their right. Each person also playing a civilian can choose their own path. First is that there is a supposed universal rule that you are to not shoot and kill unarmed civilians, so your life should last longer, and second there are a variety of more missions that you can complete to earn money. It is recommended to start off on a civilian character for multiple reasons. The independents are similar to civilians but dont require some of the licenses as civilians. The independents wear civilian styled clothing with turbans and bandanas (for most servers). Independents are usually killed on sight by the cops given that the cop identifies the player as an insurgent. Independents are parallel to Terrorists (OpFor) with some differences. (On Some servers OpFor are more a mercenary army who is supposed to help Blufor, so always read the rules when you enter a server). Cops WILL absolutely kill you on sight given they know what a terrorist looks like. These guys were strictly made to kill the cops and can be a difficult force to go against. They use ugly yet powerful equipment that rivals the BluFor side. They wear military soldier uniforms with helmets and other attire. The OpFor team is also known as the terrorist team (not to be confused with the insurgent team). This special group of soldiers may search, restrain, arrest, set/remove warrants, and ticket any civilians who have commited crimes. They have higher tech equipment and do not require licensing to possess weapons or armored vechicles. A civilian may also purchase a PMC (Private Military Company) journeyman license to then work alongside BluFor.īluFor, more commonly known as "the police", is the law enforcement branch of the game. They are referred to as "Rogue terrorists" due to the fact many rebel and are hard to distinguish as a terrorist because Takistan Life rules dictate the rules of engagement for Independents, BluFor, and OpFor sides to engage civilians. Some misbehave and law enforcement is needed. They can acquire licenses to obtain vehicles, items, and firearms. At the beginning of the game, the player is invited to choose between one of these four sides.Ĭivilians are the citizens of Takistan. There is conflict happening between these groups as this is a corrupt region. Each side is usually limited to a certain amount of players (example, BluFor usually allows up to 16 players at once). They consist of the BluFor, OpFor, Independent, and Civilian groups. There are four main sides to the region of Takistan. Takistan Life: Revolution is sister mission to Takistan Life.

The mission will download automaticly while joining the server. As mentioned in the title, Takistan Life is a mission, which means player doesn't have to download any files ("mod" files) to play the game.
